Anthony served in the US Army for from 2000 until 2003. He was first introduced to wheelchair basketball in 2007. Since then, his accomplishments have been many, including:

• Numerous gold and silver medals in the National Veteran Wheelchair Games.
• Three-time Gold Medal Winner in the Warrior Games
• NWBA Division 1 National Champion with the Dallas Mavericks in 2013 where he was runner up for MVP
• U.S. Paralympian “Athlete of the week” in 2013
• Division 2 French Champions, MVP while playing for Thonon Chablias Handibasket in Thonon Les Bains, France (2013-2017)
• Gold medalist in the 2017 Toronto Invictus Games while playing for the US Wheelchair basketball team
